Sharing the beauty of Alohaland

What better way to show Ruben and Beatrice the beauty of Alohaland than the Lanikai Pillbox hike. Tiziano hadn't quite remembered it being such a strenuous climb, but we all managed it and the 180° view out across the gulf is truly spectacular. 

In the afternoon I worked for a while and then went for a swim. Ruben and Beatrice took charge (thankfully!) of making a pasta with shrimp meal for us and Jeff and Angie. It was delicious. Angelo came down and joined us for a while. See the extra photo.

Foolishly, I succumbed to the anxiety of falling behind in my work, which meant that I couldn't sleep and finally got up to work until 1.30 a.m. At least I caught up,
