The Other Half
Yet another warm, dry day! Sis and I visited my oldest living relative (95) at his lovely house on the outskirts of Maidenhead, or Bray as it likes to be called. To our surprise his (slightly) younger brother and his wife drove up from the New Forest to join us when we went out to lunch. A good time was had by all and some family stories swapped.
On the way home we stopped off in Eton and wandered about the old streets, ending up on the bridge across the Thames, now closed to traffic, with Windsor Castle in the background. A few of the dressed up students - see extra - were wandering about and several boats were going up and down the river. My Blip today is a canal boat chugging up the Thames.
