Shadow Play (Thursday 16th May 2019)

The light was playing on the cotinus leaves first thing, so I popped out to take a few shots for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge on the theme of "shadow play". Thank you Ingeborg for hosting.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Ray Charles - Lonely Avenue (recorded 16 May 1956, New York NY)
Recorded 63 years ago on this day, this Doc Pomus classic owes its origins to a gospel tune, namely The Pilgrim Travelers' How Jesus Died. Lonely Avenue was a single in 1956 and was included on the album Yes Indeed!. The vocal back-up is by the Cookies.

One Year Ago:
Wootton Bassett (Heron landing in a tree - one of my own favourites)
