From the back porch

I was sitting in a chair on my back porch when I took the picture of this bride clematis with the wooden porch railing giving the bottom of the photo  it's dark shadow.   I like the effect this gives.  I sometimes take photos through the wooden slats as I like the effect that much.  (see extra)

I didn't have my Friday lunch with Birgit as I was waiting for our plumber to come and see about replacing our well pump & bladder tank preemptively.  Unfortunately Willie didn't get to my house today but as we told him, we're doing this before there is a problem! 

Hubby ordered us a couple of new bed mattresses today. Am excited for their arrival in about a week and to sleep on them.  Oh yay!
