Onwards

So, I’ve finally reached 1000 blips!! It’s been glorious weather the last few days, which has made for some beautiful pictures.

It was just over 7 years ago that I started on here, at 14 years old, a nervous wreck of a high school student. I’m super disappointed that I only blipped the first & last couple of months of uni, with a 3 year gap in between, as I really grew a lot & came into my own. As I said, when I first started using this I was an incredibly anxious teenager, and it allowed me to connect with others in a completely relaxed manner. I don’t wanna get too soppy, but Blipfoto really helped through some difficult times, with the wise words of so many on here.

The title of this picture, ‘Onwards’, refers to multiple things. Onwards to more blips - hopefully not taking another 7 years to reach 2000! Onwards in the sense that I’ve now finished university, and am entering the next stage of my life. Onwards to better, happier times than what I was all those years ago. And onwards to continue my mental & emotional growth.

Thank you to everyone for all your advice & kind words over the years, even those who I know haven’t been on here for a whole. Here’s to the next 1000!
