Psychology conference

I travelled down to Preston yesterday with one of my university lecturers and a couple of other students to attend a psychology conference about creativity! We got to stay overnight in a hotel, and we got money so that we weren’t out of pocket. We went to a wonderful Caribbean place for dinner, and oh my goodness it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Unfortunately it’s a local place, so I’ll have to travel back to Preston if I ever want to eat there again!

I didn’t sleep a wink, which was incredibly annoying as I was genuinely really tired. Still, I managed to make myself look presentable with my new waistcoat & tartan tie! The conference itself was interesting, though boring at points. I presented a poster on a project I’ve been volunteering on with my lecturer/dissertation supervisor over the last 3 years (Fun fact - she’s from the same town as me, and actually lived on the street around the corner from me, although she moved away before I moved there - small world eh!?).

After getting home, needless to say it was straight to bed!
