A pretty, fringed carnation with a background of red roses ......... courtesy of Himself about eight days ago - and still looking good.

His birthday yesterday - a relaxing day but with a couple of hours gentle gardening - him in the back, me in the front - then an early evening meal at the local Bangladeshi restaurant followed by a visit to the local pub (for him) to have a couple of drinks with friends.  All in all a good day!
