Speaks for itself!

Took Toby and Bertie out for a lovely walk today from Bardon Bridge to the Cavendish and back. Well...that was the plan but just before we got to the Cavendish, Toby took off! ... And would not come back! After calling and calling for about 20mins and noticing him come close but hiding from me and realising that he was staying the correct side of the wall, I decided to start walking back, thinking he'd probably follow keeping me roughly in sight. However, I could not hear him in the undergrowth at all! So Bertie and I headed back to the point where he took off, sat down and waited! I was relieved to work out that he was just running forward and back along the top. After a couple visits through the gully I was sitting at the bottom of I decided to climb up to see if I could intercept him on one of his journeys. It worked!!!
I was so mad!
It must have been around the hour mark before I got him!
He knows he's in the dog house big time with me, but he has now secured me taking him for a walk each night this week so I can work with him!!!

Oh! This little picture is an iPad sketch I did because my phone died when I was about to take a photo of the two of them walking side by side in front of me with beautiful trees with fresh bright green leaves bending over head and wild garlic flowers cramming either side of the path. Couldn't take a photo when I'd got back and there was a little charge in my phone as I was still not making eye contact with the brute!!!
I roll my eyes!!!
