Croissants, Castle, and Characters
Croissants and church, Adega and nap, and out to Sem Fim for some food and a catch up with our Swedish friends, what wonderful people they are. Unusually, they were the only ones there, though we met a German lady and an older Dutch guy who live here (as in, the other side of the Lake) intermittently, both characters.
Gratefuls:
- Zé Maria's son surviving being gored by a bull
- the men singing for some Brazilian tourists we found after church, and took to the Adega; the castle is too dangerous now to walk round and they didn't know what else to do in Mourão
- the Padre's clear message that the distinguishing mark of a Christ-follower is that we love each other, and that that transcends political differences
