Kitchen colour

Not a day for outdoor Blip inspiration - dull, damp and dreary outside. Always some cheerful flowers on the kitchen table these days though, alstroemeria just now.

Not a bad day to spend indoors - MrM in the workshop, while I was in the living room, preparing the wooden window surrounds, and then painting the first coat of primer/undercoat. Listened to a radio play, and then indulged in a little tourist-watching while I was working. Walkers kitted out in their high-tech gear, people just wandering around the town looking for something to do in the drizzle (not much, as Wooler seems to shut down before 4.00pm on Saturdays!), and holiday-makers out to have a good time and wearing their holiday finery whatever the weather and however inappropriate! The couple wearing shorts, tee-shirts and flip flops must have been sporting goose pimples too!
