hedge haircut

today was mostly spent waiting for it to stop raining! i really wanted to go for a walk and make the most of being in the countryside...it didn't stop! i was meant to be revising for college, but have mainly spent the day being distracted by birds in the garden. i do find it funny how much i forget about wildlife when living in a city. i finally went for a walk round the lanes and came across an area where someone had put little tiny painted doors on lots of the trees as to make fairy cottages, so went for a little snoop round there. received a really lovely xmas text from christine, the loveliest neighbour anyone could ever wish for :-) it made me reminisce lots about living in middlewich and made me realise how lucky i was to meet such people as her and terry and have them look out for me :-)
