~The Flowering Desert~

~A Knife Leaf Acacia~
~Morning Sun~

Because of the recent rains and the warmer weather
some of my desert friends are starting to take bloom.
Each little yellow puff-ball is actually hundreds of flowers.
All Acacias are the earliest spring bloomers in the desert.
Though they can be fooled by a early false spring.
But I sure hope this is a foreboding of the real spring.
