Other people have asked this question.....but it bears repeating.

Why on earth do the UK persist in putting £1,000,000 into Eurovision every year, when we know perfectly well nobody will vote for us?

And yes, I know that it's the taking part, blah blah....but why take part at all if there's absolutely no hope?

Perhaps, if Scotland gets independence, we could put forward one of our home grown greats!! Just think of the musicians who have come out of this land.....The Alexander Brothers, Fran and Anna, Sydney Devine, that bauchle who won X-Factor/Pop Idol/a talent show in Ayr, Andy Stewart (who could perhaps adapt his greatest hit to suit the current political landscape : "Donald, Where's Yer Brain Ffs?") or even Lena Martell.....

They couldn't be any worse than Mad Donna......!!!!!
