Hampshire lanes

Our accommodation was in the middle of nowhere in a network of lanes - and at the end of a no through road.

Looking very breakfast then started the 400+ mile trip back.

Fortunately the motorways ran freely. As we headed south to Winchester of Friday we saw 2 nasty accident. One had closed the M6 north and the poor souls in the 7mile tailback had been there over 4 hours by the time we passed. In the other incident a lorry had jackknifed by the look of it, crashed through the central reservation and ended up for n the other side of the road.

So very pleased that we were not troubled on our trip back. Still 900 miles travelling over 3 days - one of which fully occupied with a wedding - is tiring. Now to pack for out next trip as off for a fortnight.
