Sunny Italy!

The photo probably says it all.

In fact we were very lucky not to have been flying from Manchester to Milan yesterday: apparently the power supply to the main airport fuel pumps at Manchester failed mid-afternoon yesterday resulting in the cancellation of scores of flights, including those to Milan. Happily the tech boffins fixed it by about 3.30am this morning so we were able to fly today as planned.

We're now safely ensconced in a lovely small family-run hotel on the shores of Lake Garda; all we need now is for the sun to make an appearance soon. Apparently it's normally gloriously sunny here at this time of year :-)
