The sun did come out today!

A much better day than yesterday - many thanks for all your good wishes for our Italian weather to improve.

Today we had a coach trip all the way round Lake Garda - a distance of about 160km...at least we were in the coach almost all the way except for a boat trip from Salo to Sirmione. The day started off dry (ie much better than yesterday!) and the sun came out about lunchtime.

We had a good bit of time to look round Salo and Sirmione - both beautiful towns. The main photo is a square in Sirmione and the first extra is in the magnificent Duomo (Cathedral) in Salo.

After our evening meal my Editor and I went out for a stroll to the centre of Riva del Garda (the town where our hotel is situated). It's another lovely town and we particularly liked the fountain in the second extra.
