my wife made this for our daughter and our son, many years ago, so maintaining the family tradition, as her mother made hers. it'll be interesting to see if father christmas visits our daughter as she failed to make her bed today - poor timing i would say!!
my b-i-l, when he was very young, left a note attached to his stocking saying 'please fill to the brim.'
today's task was to prep for tomorrow's onslaught but i did cook the ham - simmered in ginger beer then baked with a glaze of whiskey and marmalade. looks, and smells, great!
hope father christmas visits you all, but don't wake up too early!!
