Blackbird bathing.

After watching a programme on Chelsea Flower Show Clickychick was inspired to add a new plant to her "woodland garden".  So first thing we were off to "Melki".   Sorry Larch Cottage Nureseries at Melkinthorpe.   If anybody in the county was  going to have it Peter probably would.

Sure enough she found the plant and then the Coffee on the Wisteria hung balcony started calling.  Following my experiments with multiple exposure yesterday we took lots of Wisteria shots.  While we were on the balcony I noticed this male Blackbird (Turdus merula) bathing in one of the many bird baths on sale.  It just had to be the blip for the day.
