Funeral Flowers

It is 12:25 a.m., and I have just finished my eulogy for today's service. The funeral starts at 1 p.m., and I am surprisingly not nervous, although I did struggle through the brief prayer time I had with the family.

All 3 of my kids showed up during visitation to see Uncle Steve (his mother passed) and Aunt Lori, and I was especially proud of my wife and 2 sisters who put together a delicious supper for the family to eat.

We forge straight ahead...to a day we all dread.
