Independence

It's enclosed within a locked facility, true, but this large, lovely courtyard at Silverado gives my mom the freedom to wander safely. We were out here together when I stopped to visit with a family with a small dog. I thought for sure my mom would want to talk to the girl and the friendly mom, but no, when I looked up I saw she had walked off w/out me. I cut across the covered area and intercepted her with, "Hey! Imagine meeting you here!" And our visit started all over again.
