Car Trouble
I saw this parked in the Blue Lagoon....somebody has taken the bend too fast!
The boys stayed at my Mums last night so today, after getting up at a nice relaxed time I had the chance to plug in and charge all of their Christmas presents...the house could probably be seen glowing from outer space. My boys always seem to chose toys which need charging or endless batteries. Lewis and Jed had chosen "touch sensitive" sweet dispensers (!!). I put the batteries into one and it worked fine. I put batteries into the second one and it didn't work at all. I wrapped up the majority of the presents and then went to Mums to collect the boys. Only I had to return the sweet dispenser. Jed came with me in case the shop didn't have a replacement so that he could chose something else. The shop assistant got a replacement and put in batteries to try it...it didn't work either. He went to get a new pack of batteries and tried it again, it still didn't work. Then Jed was putting it into the box for him and said: "Shouldn't this switch be set to ON?!" Yes, there was an on and off switch which I hadn't noticed!!! Nor had the shop assistant. I asked him: "Are you smarter than a 10 year old?" I am such an idiot...I suppose it was just luck that Lewis's had been switched on when I put the batteries into that one. Oh well, this is typical of me!
At Grandma's we played 3D Ludo which is brilliant (and only £5 from Smyths!) and an up-to-date Trivial Pursuit which has adult and kid questions. (I was okay at the kid questions!!) I used to love Trivial Pursuit when it first came out!
Fun day!
