Scotland Day 5

I braved the choppy seas in a small boat and went to Mingulay today.

The island saw its last permanent human resident in 1912 and is now home to a wide range of bird life and seals.

There are still remains of the properties that the islanders used to live in and they give a very good impression on just how remote this piece of land is.
