Magpie Mine
Spending a few days in Derbyshire, and it is glorious. I had forgotten how lovely this part of the world is. Still relatively uncrowded apart from troops of 16 year olds undertaking their DOE awards.
These are the ruins of the Magpie Mine, which has quite a story. Long abandoned but leaving a quite heroic reminder of days past.
On my walks today I spotted 20 different wild flowers, unfortunately I could only name a few.
Sorry my Blipping is so erratic these days, I will try to backblip but “stuff” just seems to get in the way.
