Our 2nd Secret Wedding Anniversary

2 years ago today R and I secretly got married with only 2 friends, who were our witnesses, knowing.
It was a Tuesday and I went to work in the morning, R worked at home, and at 4pm we got married in Twickenham registry office in the town hall. It was a beautiful sunny day, we each had 1 of our oldest friends as witnesses and the registrar and 2nd official were coincidentally both female.
The ceremony was very relaxed and quick whilst also emotional of course, especially as I’d never expected I’d ever get married.
We had champagne in the pub and a tapas dinner and were tipsy, and very happy as we caught the bus home fairly, early as tomorrow we were setting off to Italy for our not so secret family wedding in exactly 1 weeks time.
Tonight 2yrs on and after a day at work R and I had a lovely dinner in Charlotte’s Bistro and relived that fabulous day.
