So many shades of green...

Dear Diary,

As the day progressed yesterday I could feel a chest cold coming on.  By afternoon I had a fever and was coughing.  There was a guy in front of me on the plane that was coughing his head off so that's probably where I picked it up.  Planes are not very good for your health!  

The yard, however, is looking very green and healthy.  I love the lime green of some of the new growth.  I still have daffodils but the lilacs aren't blooming yet.  My critters were happy a dragged myself out to buy seed for them.  I plan a quiet, restful weekend working on my photo book from our Ireland adventure.
