Grim

We normally have good weather for the Penicuik Parade, but the rain originally forecast for tomorrow came through faster and it was unpleasantly damp and cold watching the parade come through [see extras]. Although the horse riders were their usual jolly selves, it seemed more forced today. Indeed, I only felt sorry for the Rainbows and who were walking the route wearing costumes that were getting steadily more damaged by the rain. "Mose" made his usual contribution to the parade: such a singular local character! Earlier, I'd given up on going for a big walk in the hills, but still had to take Django out, so amused myself trying to take action shots of him.
