One of the best Christmas presents I ever bought for someone (and if I'm honest it was for myself as well) was this gargantuan piece of magnificence. Consider today's image a homage to the man's pop genius.

And, of course, any journal entry of mine wouldn't be complete without a tune. So have, on me, this which is not only a tune and a half, but quite coincidentally has just come on the stereo behined me as I type. Christmas music of the very highest order.
