Long Day

Went up to St Mary's St to spend the day with Shandonner and about twenty of our students. They sat a mock exam in the morning and then we went through it in the afternoon (after they had marked their own papers - no embarrassment necessary!). It was somehow exhausting for us as well as them - the nervous tension was palpable.

We had a brief de-stressing session with a few of them in the Waverley, then F and I travelled down to Leith to spend a very pleasant evening over food and drink in the Vaults. As I was settling up at the end a text message came in from another friend who announced he was in Edinburgh with friends for a couple of days and would I like to meet them in the Vaults tomorrow evening! Hmm, dirty work but somebody has to, ect, ect.....

I purchased another bottle from Linkwood, just to be on the safe side.
