Whoosh
Last day in Singapore. I'd slept well but poor T had decamped to the bathroom (apparently I snore!) and was camped out on the floor with lots of cushions and pillows!
We had breakfast (last of those delicious omelettes!) and packed our bags then stowed them whilst we went to the Botanic Gardens nearby. Stunning orchids and rainforest trees - not under a dome this time - although unbelievably hot and humid (extra) so quite hard to spend too long walking around.
Decided to head back to the hotel to relax by the pool so we're not too dependent on sleeping on the plane...although rather sunny again so had to be careful not to burn (as usual T less careful....will he never learn?).
We'd booked for a reflexology session and back, neck, head and shoulder massage and loved it. Sorted out my bad neck from the pillows at the hotel, and we had a great time - T's first spa session and I think he enjoyed it - wasn't sure what to make of the reflexology at first but it was really relaxing.
We then headed to the airport and after dropping off the bags we went over to the Jewel.....amazing huge rain shower/waterfall that drops 5 storeys, surrounded by hundreds of trees then shops and restaurants. We tasted a Japanese layered pancake cake but couldn't believe the queues at other places. Had a wander and a gawp at the various places, then back to board and settle in for the long haul home....
