Troll

Just over a year ago, I bought an air-plant at the RHS Spring Show in Malvern, where a chap from Penzance had a stall full of weird and wonderful, otherworldly-looking plants to choose from. This is Troll (well, with a hairstyle like that, what else was I going to call it?!), which has been minding it's own business by the kitchen window, being sprayed three times a week with rainwater as per instructions and growing very slowly. A few weeks ago, Troll acquired pink highlights, and pretty much overnight has now put out these two flowers - the effect is rather Mardi Gras and not a little phallic!
