Swift !

My annual quest for a better photograph of a Swift continues but I'll add this one as best so far.

A very wet morning but it cleared eventually.  The dozen Swifts I saw enjoyed the high winds and some Swallows joined in with Skylarks singing all along Cown Edge.   The Golden Plover and Lapwing were keeping their heads down

Also seen was a family of Mistle Thrushes 6 birds and for the second time in a week I saw a Cuckoo  - I some years I never see one (only hear them) but this year two in a week.. I must return to see if I can spot a Female Cuckoo on a calmer day
