Etoile de Hollande

I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon, to find that this climber has not really been affected by the recent rain.
Usually the flowers turn into brown, soggy lumps, after the sun comes out and scorched the petals through the drops of water. This is a real shame, as it is a beautiful perfumed rose.
