Budle Bay

Driving back from a Morris gig at Bamburgh - "middle pub" (extra, showing public joining in)- I have to pass Budle Bay and, not for the first time, had to stop and take a quick shot.
The light is always wonderful.
I would have loved to have seen it before the sand bar stopped most of the ingress of the tide. It still fills with water at high tide, but it's relatively shallow, and is now a haven for wading birds.
