We did our annual Memorial Day Civic duty, cleaning up the perennials on the traffic island at our corner. The weather was grand, we finished the day with a trip to the Lobster Pot in Wareham for fried lobster and an ice cream cone on the way home. All rewards for the garden work we accomplished this long weekend Everything was totally overgrown and in quite a state after our weeks away in Ireland. 

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and warm, not as hot as yesterday, just perfect for Memorial Day festivities.

All hands tired, but happy with the weeding and clipping, lawn mowing and tidying up.
