More buds on our gorgeous orchid

How can something so beautiful be producing even more buds? I'm thrilled.

I've spent the afternoon making greeting cards after requests from my Garden Club customers. I sent the image and poem out to members as a hopeful cheer up yesterday and the requests for cards began coming in this morning. I usually charge a small fee for the cards, much less than they cost in the shops these days. I have asked folks to donate the money to the Hanover Food Pantry during the pandemic, the need is great.I witnessed hungry children in my first years of teaching in northern Maine, children who gobbled their federally funded lunches in the early 70s. I will never forget their little faces when the lunches were delivered each day, perhaps their only hot meal of the day.
