Memorial Day 10K

My friend is the race director for the Memorial Day 10K and she asks me to be the supplemental photographer.  I love it.  It is such a challenge to get the light right and the spacing... and where to stand to get the runners in the right way.  I take a TON of photos - but there are always some good ones and that makes me happy.

Today I am posting the guys with the flag for Memorial day - but the extras really make me happy - the young man in blue is graduating with my daughter next sunday; we have known him since preschool.
