The multi year performance piece on the collapse of British politics continues. We are now onto the section paying homage to the Apprentice, where a bunch of deluded no marks, who suffer from cases of cognitive dissonance so severe that they can continue to talk up their abilities to a risible extent while simultaneously making an absolute mess of the most basic task, compete for a job anyone can see they are spectacularly unqualified for.

The production team have excelled themselves this time though, putting together the greatest cast of morons ever. The only surprise is that failing Grayling didn’t see the parade of the useless at the start line and decide that even he had a chance of beating that shower.

He is the most incompetent person to ever hold ministerial office, and he would still be a better option than most of them.

We are so doomed.
