The National Memorial Arboretum

I took our visitors to the NMA today. It wasn’t what they were expecting and they were very impressed. We took a guided tour and after our guide had finished the official tour, he took us around a few more of the memorials that were of an interest to them. The one in the picture had a nice story about one of those named on it, which is now a bit hazy in my brain. I’ll re-tell it if I ever remember it correctly.

This took up most of our day, so we went home for a rest before taking them to our go to pub for food, The Hollybush.
