I met my niece for lunch in Cedarburg today to go over the details for her sisters’ bridal shower, which the two of us are hosting in July. On the way there I realized that today is my day to bring a desert and serve the meal for the homeless, only I hadn’t made anything. Fortunately, there’s a store in Cedarburg called “Downtown Dough” that sells pre-made cookie dough; I’d just have to bake them. When we were finished at the restaurant I started walking to get the dough & partway there I heard barking, so was looking around to see where it was coming from. Then I saw this sweet dog in the window of a store. As soon as I walked over to the window it calmly laid down—it seemed to me the dog had gotten upset that I hadn’t noticed it—must be used to getting attention, as it should be! I took it’s picture, got to the store & picked up some chocolate caramel cookie dough, drove home & just finished baking them. Have to be there in an hour, so not sure how much commenting I’ll be doing today. :))
