Lot clearing today

I apologized silently to the trees as the lot clearing began today for my niece's new house. It will be built on family land, land purchased in 1928 along with the house I posted yesterday, that we live in today. My grandparents and parents would be thrilled that another generation will grow up on the land they loved so much.

This day came in cool and rainy.
