Bethlehem

Last day and wonderful visit to the Church of the Nativity. The star is the spot where it is believed Christ was born. The church was built in the 4th century and they have uncovered original floors in the last 5 years. It has 3 monasteries Armenian Apostolic, Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic and is in Palestine.
We also visited Ein Karem, where John the Baptist was born and shared a coffee with Abraham - pictured here too.
Back to Scotland tomorrow- this has been a trip of a lifetime
