Stroll along the canal

An early morning stroll along the canal near home and I happened on this home, which in winter never looks nearly as good.  This time of the year it is lush and green and I can't help wondering how nice it must be to live so close to the canal.  My hubby would have a canal boat tomorrow - unlike me, have enjoyed one holiday on one but I like my comforts!
