Moth?

Spotted this lovely fellow today - not sure what he is but captured him before he flew away never to be seen again. Have had a thoroughly lovely afternoon entertaining my grandchildren who sat at the other end of my garden - yes realise what this means but the weather is beautiful today and it might well be raining on Monday
