Water, Water, Everywhere...

Yesterday Matilda sprung a leak. Basically her by-pass hose failed which meant I needed to remove her cylinder head, again. This involves removing all attached auxiliaries such as the exhaust manifold, the coolant hoses and spark plug leads, etc.

The part needed to be replaced only cost £4.14 but the new head gasket kit adds another £10.68. Doing the work myself saved untold costs.

It took me about 5 hours, I forgot lunch and for most of the time it rained!

Tomorrow I will give her a test run.
