Peek a boo!

Today Mr Tbay and I headed for the Bath and West early. We arrived at 8:30 and went straight to the Somerset YFC tent which looked FANTASTIC! See extras for views of tent. Among the items in the tent is our T20 grey Ferguson tractor which was my father’s and the one I learnt to drive on and also Miss Tbay and Mr Tbay Jnr. This is Harry on the tractor which has been beautifully decorated by one of our Young Farmers and his mum. The results were stunning.

The Marquee theme this year was celebrating out 85th anniversary, so lots of interesting memorabilia on display. We were so delighted that our Bath and West Chairman Georgia managed to net the award for the best agricultural stand at the show. She is our golden girl! See extras for her sitting on the tractor!

With a reception in the afternoon to celebrate the 85th , interviews with our members for local radio and BBC points west, plus the National NFU Chairman, Minette Batters dropping in , I think we can say it was a busy day! More to come in the next few days!

Mr Tbay was also busy as he is one of the judges for the Prince of Wales Award , and he has to give a speech and announce the winner. As always he delivered a brilliant speech and all went well . A good day all round!
