TV star and an MP.

Today our quest list in the YFC marquee included Adam Henson from BBC Country File and the Minster for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food at DEFRA , Robert Goodwill. Of course the younger members were much more interested in Adam Henson that an MP! However both visitors were lovely and very interested in the marquee.

I am also rather pleased to report that my fruit cake was very much enjoyed by Robert Goodwill who enquired who had made it and said how much he had enjoyed it. Wow! My cake is famous!

Farming - Preparations for Silaging on Saturday, plus hauling mushroom compost.

Today was my YFC Groups stewarding day in the Marquee and we had a good turnout of our local members. The weather was lovely and we all enjoyed our day again.
