Spring Gold

Dicentra formosa 'Spring Gold' to be precise, flowering profusely in the 'yard at the minute.

A 'bitty' sort of day. You know the sort - constantly busy without achieving anything much! But I did start sorting out my 'In tray', with a view to getting some paperwork out of the way before starting the dreaded accounts for our small business. Aiming to send in the tax return before the end of June. 

Mid-afternoon MrM and I started laying the floor boards in the living room. I hadn't planned to learn how to lay floor boards, but needs must! We didn't continue for very long though, as John C enquired as to whether we'd like to join him for a pub meal before the start of the Open Mic session. We did, and had a good evening. Work in the living room will resume tomorrow evening...
