Oak Bluff's Gingerbread Houses

Today we wandered through Oak Bluff's amazing collection of 318 gingerbread houses -- all built around 1860.  They started out as a summer camp of tents erected by Methodists who came to pray there.  Over time those tents were transformed into these quaint wooden cottages still used as summer retreats today.  The cuteness factor almost (but not quite) set my teeth on edge!  Extra shows some happy chappies who were unloading a truck near where I was photographing.  They waved and smiled so beguilingly I had to take their picture too.  (I call them my Gingerbread Men!)
