Stepping The Mast

This morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven, we strolled along the shore for a bit before joining the queue for the ferry back to the mainland.  Here you can see the little catboat Catfish being fitted with a new mast ... or perhaps it's an old mast ... not sure.  Either way, I thought it made for a nice image.

Ironic that the weather was gorgeously sunny on the day we arrived in Martha's Vineyard, and also on the day we left, but the days in between were gray, rainy, and cold!  Nonetheless we had a wonderful time.
