Technology Moves Along

There were actually shadows when PD and I went out this morning, although with all the rain there has been the stream level was up and the fallen tree had caught up all the foam.
The sun was still trying to come out by the time we got to Death Row. The trees there are reaching the end of their lives and many are suffering from damage and deformity.

After some tea and toast SWMBO and I headed out to a (fairly) local timber merchant to find a piece of wood for a commission I have been given. The brief I was given is cheap & cheerful and totally impractical for long term use so I had come up with an idea of my own. The timber man (who is a superb furniture maker) agreed with me about changing the plan.
I came out having spent £70. Most of it for my own use rather than the commission.

On the way there, I just had to stop and take a shot of old car at the wind farm. The driver was a woman who was being given a lesson in how to reverse a trailer.

Whilst on our afternoon walk we came across some lost property - a change from the usual glove.
